Additional Ocracoke-Swan Quarter ferry departure scheduled

Hyde County has announced that an additional ferry departure has been added to assist visitors in evacuating ahead of anticipated impacts from Hurricane Isaias. There will be an 8 p.m. ferry leaving from Ocracoke to Swan Quarter Friday evening, July 31, 2020.

The Hyde County Emergency Services Department will continue to monitor the forecast for Hurricane Isaias and issue advisories as appropriate.
